Traditional Chinese Calligraphy Workshop
Want to experience one of the cultural treasures of China? Join Cultural Keys for a fascinating calligraphy workshop!
In this workshop, you’ll learn about the history, tools and techniques used in calligraphy, practice characters, and finally write a phrase to take home, under the guidance of an expert Chinese calligrapher.
What is a workshop?
A Cultural Keys calligraphy workshop is a chance to actually experience an aspect of Chinese culture, rather than just learning about it!

Date: Sunday May 23rd
Location: The CK Culture Centre, Songzhuang, Tongzhou (nearest subway station is Dongxiayuan on Line 6, then a 10-minute cab ride)
Price: 258RMB per person
Availability: Max. 10 people | Everyone 12+ years old is welcome to join

The price includes a presentation on the history, tools and techniques of Chinese calligraphy, a two-hour workshop with an expert calligrapher, a dumpling lunch and snacks and tea during the workshop!
Schedule
11:00am – Arrive at the CK Culture Centre, enjoy welcome tea
11:30am – Presentation
12:30pm – Lunch
2:00pm – Calligraphy Workshop
4:00pm – End of event
This is a calligraphy workshop but no experience with calligraphy or knowledge of Chinese is required. Everyone is welcome! We also welcome families with children 12+. Your host is a native-English speaker and the event will be conducted in English.
