You know autumn is approaching when mooncakes start appearing in the shops! But do you know why moon cakes are eaten at the Mid-Autumn Festival? Would you like to learn more about the festival? Join us for our Mid-Autumn Festival celebration!

Join Cultural Keys on September 23rd to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival! During this event you’ll learn all about the festival during a presentation given by a native speaker, try lots of different flavours of mooncake in a fun blind taste test, and make a traditional dough figurine on a stick of Chang’E (the moon goddess)
– Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration –
Date: September 23rd 2023
Time: 2.30-5pm
Location: CK Culture Centre, Songzhuang, Tongzhou District
Places: Maximum 10 people per session
Payment: Prepayment via WeChat, AliPay, PayPal (no PayPal account required) or bank transfer. Fapiao available on request.
Price: Adults 288RMB | Kids 8+ 248RMB
Price includes snacks, drinks, introductory presentation and all the required materials.
Event Schedule
2.30pm: Arrive and welcome
2.40pm: Presentation: Introduction to the festival
3pm: Blind mooncake tasting
3.30pm: Make figurines of Chang’E.
5pm: Event concludes

About Cultural Keys’ Workshops
CK Culture Workshops are held at our culture centre in Xiaopu Village, Songzhuang and limited to 10 people, to ensure each attendee gets full attention from the teacher. No previous knowledge or experience is necessary to take part in our workshops. At the end, you will be able to take your creation home with you!
