Presentation: Chinese Myths and Monsters at Halloween!
Celebrate spooky season with a fun presentation about China’s monsters, ghosts, demons and other supernatural creatures! China has a festival that has some similarities to Halloween, the Ghost Festival which falls in August. But we thought this presentation would be a great one to have at Halloween!
Join Cultural Keys online on October 26th for a fascinating presentation on the supernatural creatures from Chinese religion and folk tales.

Presentation Content
1. Ghosts and demons: including the famous Chinese zombies and lesser-known demons like the painted demon who wears human skins – ugh!
2. Monsters: Some of the weird creatures in Chinese stories, from a monster with eyes in its armpits to a headless giant.
3. Protection: Ways in which the ancient Chinese (and you too, if you’re superstitious!) protected themselves from all these nasty things!
4. The Ghost Festival: Learn about the festival where the dead roam the earth for an entire month.
