Cultural Keys currently offers three different product ranges that are suitable for both children and adults, either together (as part of family day activities for example) or individually (such as staff events or student activities):
Culture Workshops: experience traditional Chinese arts and crafts hands-on in small groups. Our workshops include: dragon and lion dancing, dough figurine making, dragon and phoenix painting, pinwheel making, calligraphy, painting, weaving and lots more!
Culture Presentations: listen to an informative talk about an aspect of traditional Chinese culture, either online or in person. Our presentations include: Beijing culture, Chinese myths and monsters, dragon and lion dancing, arts and crafts, clothing of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and many more!
Festival Celebrations: celebrate traditional Chinese festivals with food and fun activities. We have created festival celebrations with a range of themed activities around six major festivals: Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Qixi (Chinese Valentine’s Day), Mid-Autumn Festival, and Ghost Month (also suitable for Halloween).
Our activities offer participants a way to engage with and learn more about Chinese culture by offering them the opportunity to take part in inclusive discussions, knowledge exchange and hands-on experiences all related to traditional Chinese culture. Most can be tailored to the age of the participants, though some are more suited towards certain age groups than others.
