Interactive Presentation: Essentials of The Chinese Zodiac (via Zoom)

Everyone knows their Western Zodiac sign, but do you know which animal corresponds to the year you were born, according to the Chinese Zodiac, or how that animal’s characteristics apply to you and your life?

The ox is the second animal in the Chinese zodiac, as it was pipped to the post by the rat for number 1!

Join Cultural Keys online on June 19th for a fascinating presentation on the essential things to know about the Chinese Zodiac. Find out about the origin of the Chinese system and the significance of the animals that make it up!

The Chinese Zodiac

Location: Online via Zoom
Time: June 19th 2022 7.30-8.30pm (Beijing time)
Places: Unlimited
Price: 50RMB for members of Cultural Keys’ WeChat group; 80RMB for non-members

CK Culture Presentations are perfect entry points for anyone who wants to learn more about Chinese culture through stories, humour and fascinating facts – great for those with no previous knowledge, but also interesting for those who already know something about the subject. We call our presentations ‘interactive’ because we hope that participants will join in with questions and their own experiences!

The animals of the Chinese zodiac

They are presented by native-English speakers in a clear and accessible way, and all participants are sent a copy of the presentation at the end of each event, together with the audio recording, so you can listen again at your convenience.

Members of our WeChat group get a discount on all our presentations, and other events too! We also post regular culture news and discussions to the group. If you’d like to join, please scan the ‘more info’ QR code on the poster.

If you have any questions, or to sign up, please scan the QR code on the poster, add CulturalKeysCCC on WeChat, or email us at events@culturalkeys.cn. Alternatively, fill in the form below and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
