‘Great Wall Hero’ is the Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau’s annual global marketing campaign. This year, the theme was Beijing by Night, and five different routes were chosen to showcase the city in the late afternoon and evening. Cultural Keys helped design the ‘Beijing Through Culture’ route, which takes in some of the city’s cultural highlights.

CK was out and about in the evening in April with a film crew from Beijing Tourism Bureau, preparing new products for 2022! We visited several fascinating sites and met two inheritors of Beijing’s intangible cultural heritage.

Last week Cultural Keys was pleased to welcome Wen Meng Xin from China News to our culture centre! Wen Meng Xin spent the day with us learning about what we do, as well as interviewing our co-founder AJ Donnelly. We also held a free calligraphy and painting class so she could get footage of some typical events.
